"Building Sustainable Enterprises. Empowering Communities. Driving Rural Industrialization."
Bhekithembi Enterprise Development NPC is a South African non-profit company established to accelerate inclusive economic growth through enterprise development, supplier development, skills development, and rural industrialization. Our mission is to create sustainable pathways for entrepreneurs, cooperatives, emerging farmers, youth, women, and rural enterprises to participate meaningfully in South Africa’s economy.
We believe that thriving local enterprises are the foundation of resilient communities. By connecting businesses to knowledge, finance, markets, technology, and strategic partnerships, we help transform entrepreneurial potential into sustainable businesses that create jobs and stimulate local economic development.
Our work aligns with national priorities, including industrialization, localisation, the District Development Model, transformation of supply chains, youth employment, women economic empowerment, and the growth of township and rural economies.
Through strategic partnerships with government departments, development finance institutions, municipalities, corporates, academic institutions, and industry associations, we design and implement programmes that strengthen enterprise competitiveness and expand market access.
